Ah...Fall Harvest on the Islands. At Fisk Farm the Art Barn will be open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:00 until 5:00. It's a last chance to see the beautiful photographs of Isle La Motte Chazy Reef fossils by Art Murphy (whose work is also being shown in the Museum of Natural History in Florence, Italy). Stop off to see Susan Larkin's beautiful work in her studio, then come on down to Fisk Farm on West Shore Road to see the photographs and also work by Ginger Johnson, Anne Zolotas, and Donald Gibson. Also check out the Visitor Center/Museum on the Goodsell Ridge Preserve which will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. And of course don't forget Hall's Orchard, Hall's Home Place, and the South End Cafe on this interesting route. So much to do and see on Isle La Motte.
