Central Vermont Medical Center is sponsoring a 5K Race to benefit Susan G. Komen VT/NH breast cancer foundation. Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Vermont, The Medical Store, and Keene Medical are co-sponsors. Saturday, September 10 at Barre Town Recreation Area behind the Barre Town School. Register for $20 by September 7 or for $25 on Race day from 7:45-9:15. Jazzercise warm-up at 9:15. Runners start at 9:30 and walkers at 9:40. Fee includes Race t-shirt. All ages welcome and prizes in every age category. Through generous grants to CVMC over many years, Komen has made breast cancer screening affordable for hundreds of central Vermont women and funded free therapy services for women with breast cancer.
