"Hey dance artists and allies in Orange County, VT! Please mark your calendars for Sunday, January 26th from 2-5 PM. The Vermont Dance Alliance is hosting a Community Meet-Up (organized by VDA members Tracy Penfield and Sonia Plumb) in the Esther Mesh Room at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph, VT!

At this event, we will:
*Meet and mingle with dance artists, patrons, and legislators from Orange County
*Move together in a session led by VDA Board Member Sonia Plumb
*Talk about the challenges faced by dance artists in VT and our vision for a better future
*Talk about how arts funding works at the state level in VT and opportunities for advocacy
*Participate in advocacy trainings, like how to craft your personal story (and where to tell it) and how to write a letter to the editor
This whole event is totally FREE and open to EVERYONE, and you can attend any part(s) of it you're interested in!!
