Asters, Black-eyed Susan, Goldenrod, Milkweed... explore flowering fields and woody meadow edges along the Landon Community and Round Pond Trails. Master Naturalist Chuck Hulse, author of "A Guide to the Wildflowers of Landon Community Trail," will lead the walk, looking for bright blooms and other signs of autumn. This free event is sponsored by the South Hero Land Trust and is open to everyone.

The details: Saturday, September 10th, 10:00-11:30 AM. Meet at the Landon Community Trail Parking Area, off of Landon Road. RSVPs are welcome but not required. Contact Emily at 372-3786 or emily@shlt.org for directions or to let her know you're coming.
