Join Dr. Wiseman in his second Zoom ethnobotany program, which deals with the spirituality and worldview of the intricate relations between plants and people. Using his fifty years of experience in the Desert Southwest, the tropical forests of the Sierra Madre, the Maya Lowlands and the Wabanaki areas, he will explore the concepts of animism, kincentric ecology ("all our relations"), horticultural calendrics , industrial ethnobotany, herbology and food systems. Time for questions and answers will follow the lecture. This free online event is being hosted by the Friends of Missisquoi NWR. Register at: https://friendsofmissisquoi.org/calendar/
