Prevent Child Abuse Vermont (40 years old) presents our WALK AND RUN FOR CHILDREN on the front lawn of the State House on Saturday, August 20th (Saturday, September 17th in Rutland and Burlington)! Check in at 8:00, WALK begins at 10:00. This year's WALK is dedicated to the memory of Lara Sobel. Door prizes, food and drinks, T-shirts, music, special appearances by SPIDERMAN (only in Montpelier), who has a long history of being a proponent of child abuse prevention, SKIP from the Vermont Mountaineers, Christopher R and his Flying Purple Guitar and many more. Money raised goes to our free programs for families and children in Vermont.....please come and join us; together we will prevent child abuse, step by step by step, because "it shouldn't hurt to be a child......."
