The Hogback Mountain Conservation Association invites you to an illustrated lecture by ski historian Jeremy Davis, Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Memorial Hall in Wilmington. Doors open at 6:30; lecture starts at 7:00. There used to be over 60 ski areas in the southern part of the state. Now there are only 14. What happened? Jeremy will present his insights into how the ski industry changed over time. Come early to meet Jeremy and have him sign your copy of his books, and to look over photos and artifacts from the heyday of the Hogback Ski Area in Marlboro. This event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to support the work of the Hogback Mountain Conservation Association, including maintaining trails, improving wildlife habitat, and hosting guided hikes and lectures like this!
