Jul 15, 2016, 9 AM to 12 PM

The restoration of DuMont Meadow has begun! Join us for our second volunteer work outing of the season to remove invasive bush honeysuckle from this scenic and valuable meadow. We will be manually removing and cutting back honeysuckle to protect native plants and wildlife.

Join us from 9am-12pm. Park at the Town's stump dump at the end of Adams Mill Road and meet at the trailhead for Alex's Trail. Make sure to wear long pants and bring water, gloves, and loppers and handsaws if you have them. Light refreshments will provided along with work gloves and some tools. This event is rain or shine, but heavy thunderstorms may cancel. Please call (802)253-7221 to confirm.
