As part of St. Stephen’s Church’s Peasant Market, we have a fabulous book sale! Thanks to generous donations, this year we have an especially fine collection of cookbooks as well as dozens of books on quilting and quilting patterns. This, of course, is in addition to all of the fiction, mysteries, young adult, history, biography, religion and spirituality, and dozens of other categories, all carefully sorted for your browsing and buying pleasure. Peasant Market takes place from 9:00–2:00 tomorrow, Saturday, July 9th. The event takes place rain or shine. The books are upstairs on the second floor of the church building. Come early for best selection. Come later in the day for best prices. Proceeds go to benefit local social service agencies. What else are you going to do on a rainy Saturday? While you’re there, check out the LPs, white elephants, vintage clothing, or bid on some items in the silent auction. Hope to see you there!
