Study Committee Update
We invite you to attend the June 22 Act 46 Committee meeting
at Doty Memorial School in Worcester
from 7pm-9pm in the Gym
ACT 46 AGENDA will include the following important topics:
• Discussion Agenda:
o Discussion on Moving Forward:
This conversation will review where we stand vis a vis the Act 46 “preferred” model (one board and a singled consolidated budget) and alternative models which were explored at the last meeting. This discussion will allow us to clarify our next steps as we work together on the best option we can bring forward to our communities for a vote next March. Ultimately, we hope to present the governance option that will help us support the best outcomes for our kids and one that will work well for each of our communities. (“vis a vis”: preposition; in relation to; with regard to)
o Discussion on the inclusion of Roxbury
o Discussion on Articles of agreement
• Action Agenda:
o Decision on making Roxbury Advisable
