Come Join the fun at Taylor Park in Saint Albans! This week we will be giving away an $25 gift card to Rail City Market to one lucky participant and waterbottles to everyone!

This free event is open to ALL ages and fitness levels. It's designed to energize, motivate and inspire members of the community to get their physical activity in together.

Schedule:
6:00-6:30 Physical Activity
6-30 - 7:00. Mindfulness, stretching and more

Our guest host is Rhonda-Sommers Fletcher from Duke's Fitness Center, Collins Perley Sports and Fitness Center and Champlain Valley Agency on Aging.

Rhonda is a dedicated instructor focused on full-body, high-energy workouts. She loves figure skating, traveling, and anything fitness oriented. When asked how long she’s been into fitness, Rhonda says she’s “always exercised since I was a little kid by participating in track and field, soccer, volleyball, figure Skating, skiing, and swimming.”
Rhonda also work at the Champlain Valley Agency on Aging, where she is employed. Since 1974, CVAA has been providing nutrition and supportive services to seniors. They provide:

• Senior HelpLine - offers information and assistance to seniors and their caregivers
• Options Counseling - helping you and your family plan for long term care
• Case Management - empower seniors to maintain their independence
• Meals on Wheels - hot nutritious meals can be delivered to the homes of seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals
• Community Meals - seniors find more than just a nutritious meal at a senior community meal
• SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) - confused about health insurance?
• Caregiver Support - taking care of yourself...so you can take care of your loved one
• Healthy Aging Programs - regular physical activity is the most important contributor to improving overall health and well being
• Tai Chi for Arthritis Programs - recognized as an effective way to improve physical strength and reduce falls
• Volunteer Services - volunteers and Senior Companions can assist you with a variety of everyday tasks
• Transportation - in collaboration with public transit providers, we can help you get to your desired destination
• Nutrition Counseling - a registered dietitian works with seniors in their homes assisting them with their nutritional concerns
