Anima, the women’s early music ensemble, has two performances coming up on June 11th and 12th. The concert is entitled “Summer’s Peace,” and features settings of the Agnus Dei and other medieval, renaissance, and contemporary works. From the soaring chants of the 12th century mystic Hildegard of Bingen to the rich polyphony of Dunstable and Palestrina, to Russian hymns and Anima’s original composition, this promises to be a peaceful and uplifting concert.

Sunday, June 12th, 2016, 3 pm. St. Andrews Episcopal Church, St. Johnsbury. $15/$10 seniors, students free.
