On Thursday, June 2nd, CarShare Vermont, in conjunction with Montpelier Alive, is hosting a free event with appetizers/drinks at the Skinny Pancake from 5:30 to 7:30.
There are lots of ways to use CarShare. For instance, folks who take the bus to work in Montpelier or Burlington have access to a CarShare car if the something unexpected comes up. You save lots of money when your 2-car family goes to one car. The cars (2 in Montpelier and a dozen or so in Burlington) are also super handy for weekend trips, including to Canada. The $30 membership fee is waived through June if you type the code SCOUT when you sign up.
Join the fun and learn more about a cool service from a cool non-profit that helps folks who can't afford car ownership and helps reduce the number of cars in town.
