The Johnson Historical Society is pleased to announce the official opening of the Dr. Holcomb House on Sunday, May 29th from 1 to 4 PM. The history of Johnson reflects a proud heritage of agriculture; natural resources; industries including grist mills, sawmills, the talc mill & mine, the woolen mill; as well as education from one room schools to Johnson State College. The Historical Society will provide information about Johnson's history through exhibits, programs, and access to its collections. Stop by on Sunday to see what is happening at the Dr. Holcomb House and learn more about the history of Johnson. Everyone is welcome.
Beginning in June, the Dr. Holcomb House will be open on Thursdays from 9 AM to noon and Sundays from 1 to 4 PM or by appointment.
