Have you always wanted to learn to play tennis? Are you looking for a great way to get some exercise, meet new friends or even learn a game that you can play with your children? If so we encourage you to attend our fun "Play Day". The United States Tennis Association (USTA) New England Rep and our Instructor Robert Illingworth will be on hand to lead this fun event. No equipment or experience is required. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Come join us at our Rotary Park Tennis Courts, located just below the Barre City Elementary and Middle School on Friday June 3, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Our rain date is Sunday June 5, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. This is a free event! We will have youth and adult tennis lessons this summer for those who are interested and this will provide you with a sample of what to expect. The City of Barre is a proud participant in the "Let's Move Cities and Towns" initiative! For more information contact Stephanie Quaranta with the Barre City Buildings & Community Services Department at 476-0257 or squaranta@barrecity.org.
