Barre Opera House is hosting a new usher orientation next Monday, January 13 at 5 PM

We have a full slate for 2025 and are busily recruiting people to join our team of ushers ! Interested? Anyone 14 or older is welcome to sign on (it is a fantastic way to get those community service hours, high-schoolers!) Ushers are the first line of contact with eager theater-goers – offering smiles and a helping hand. The opera house wouldn't be the friendly, welcoming place it is without them. The only requirement is that prospective ushers attend our upcoming orientation session at the opera house. The 60-minute session is set for Monday, January 13 at 5 PM. If you want to join the usher corps, we w ould love to know in advance you plan to attend , so email volunteers@barreoperahouse.org. If you are interested in ushering, but can't make o ur orientation, email anyway! We can let you know when another orientation is coming up. Did we mention ushers get to see fabulous performances, such as Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy, Lords of 52nd Street and Adam Ezra for free? Because that is good to know. Come join our team!
