The 1941 Oscar-winning “How Green Was My Valley” will be this year’s FREE offering by the Barre Historical Society in the Global Labor Film Festival, Sunday, May 22, 7 PM;. The film chronicles a close, hard-working 19th century Welsh mining family’s life in the South Wales coalfields, the loss of that way of life, and its effects on the family.
