(1) Annual Planning Commission Organizational Meeting
• Elect chair and vice chair
• Review PC Policies and Procedures (any updates?) and Town’s Conflict of Interest Policy
(2) Approval of meeting minutes from April 19 and May 3, 2016 meetings
(3) Administrative Matters
• Review and discuss proposed meeting timeline for completion of Zoning Bylaws and Regulation revisions
• Ad hoc committee reports, if any
(4) Informal informational presentation by Chris Aker for a possible Planned Residential Development application
(5) Zoning By-laws and Regulations Review: Continue review of draft Articles III and IV, begin Article V. Discuss proposed draft Preface.

The Planning Commission is engaged in drafting proposed revisions to the Town’s Zoning By-Laws & Regulations that will bring this document into conformity with the Town Plan approved in November, 2012. Our deliberations on Article X (outlining zones, objectives, uses, and dimensional standards) were completed in January, 2016. We are now proceeding with review and deliberation of the remaining Articles in anticipation of future public hearings and final recommendations to the Selectboard. Adam Lougee, Executive Director of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission (ACRPC), continues to serve as the Planning Commission’s consultant in this process.
Public comments on tonight’s agenda will be called for at an appropriate juncture during the deliberations. We will hear public comments on other topics at the conclusion of our evening’s deliberations.
