Wednesday, May 11th at 6:30 PM, the Colchester School Board will meet jointly with the Winooski School Board to discuss a proposed merger study regarding the two districts. The meeting will be held in the library of the Winooski School buildings at 60 Normand str. in Winooski. The study, funded by a State grant, requires approval by both school boards. The Winooski Board voted to propose the study. Colchester’s board discussed the proposal at their April 5th meeting and requested a joint meeting to obtain more information prior to any decision regarding the study.
