At the next Burlington City Council Meeting, opponents of the F-35 will be speaking during the public comment period to explain to the City Council, landlords to the airport, why basing this new, still-in-development fighter/bomber at this civilian airport is very poor public policy. Come at 6:45 to sign up for a 2 minute speaking slot and express your opinion during on of the few avenues for public input into government that we have. It is important to note that our Hill District council person, Karen Paul, is head of the Council's Airport Committee and deserves our input. We can make a difference.
