Hello Neighbors,

It is both an honor and privilege to serve the residents of Wards 2 and 3 as your Central District City Councilor. I am excited to launch my campaign for re-election this Town Meeting Day, March 4th and ask again for your support. I know, with the experience and expertise I have gained as a city councilor, along with the extensive groundwork I have done, that I am the best choice at this critical time in our city. On the current council, I am one of its senior members and its Public Safety expert. The council had five seats turnover last year and will have at least two turnover this year, making my tenure and knowledge a valuable asset among newer members. I have served as the chair of the council's Public Safety committee, as well as on the Special Committee To Review Policing Policies and as a Police Commissioner. Through these roles, I have developed deep experience with Burlington's community safety issues. Finally, I work productively with our Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak, who ran an incredible campaign and was elected decisively with a broad coalition of Burlington residents. I believe she deserves to have the full support of the council to move her initiatives forward. With the ongoing financial crisis, community safety concerns, the rise in the unhoused population, and more, it is now more important than ever that we come together for the City of Burlington. My journey as a city councilor has not been easy, but it has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I'm eager to continue serving you in the years ahead.
