Little Theater on the Farm, 27 Plum Road, Fort Edward, presents A Concert with Friends: D.P. O'Riley, Katy Dwyer, Dave Larson, and Amy Geilling. Saturday, May 7th, 7pm. Dan and Katy have been performing their variety of country western swing jazz blues and folk music together in the greater Capital and Lake George regions for almost 20 years in the greater capital and Lake George region, playing many well known venues including Caffe Lena, First Night in Saratoga, Heartlands Hayride, and Park Avenue Country Club in New York City. Katy has sung with many groups in Saratoga Springs including The Bob Warren band who will be performing at the Little Theater on the Farm this year for the first time as well.
Danny has been performing for over 30 years and is a veteran of the music business. At age 21 he was playing with Jerry Jeff Walker ( Mr.Bojangles ) who asked Danny to go on the road with him. Danny has played with members from such esteemed bands as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, and Kiss.
Dan and Katie's repertoire range from Johnny Cash and Hank Williams to Les Paul and Mary Ford and Patsy Cline and many other favorites. Opening for them are newcomers Dave and Amy also known as DNA playing all your favorite cowboy songs. Attendants of last year's Little Theater on the Farm basket party saw Dave and Amy and Dan and Katy play to a wonderful crowd that included dancing in the aisles.
