On Saturday, April 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. in the South Burlington Community Library, the Vermont Italian Club will sponsor a discussion and slide show by Weybridge resident Grace Weber. Grace, a fluent speaker of Italian, has been volunteering for several years in Sicily with Libera, a contemporary anti-mafia movement. Libera holds properties confiscated by the courts from convicted mafia bosses, rededicating these lands and buildings to activities in the public interest, operating with volunteer labor. Grace will present a slide show and discuss her experiences in Sicily.
