AGENDA
(1) Annual Planning Commission Organizational Meeting (this depends on PC member appointments to be discussed and perhaps made during the Selectboard meeting on Monday evening, April 18)
• Elect chair and vice chair
• Review PC Policies and Procedures
(2) Approval of meeting minutes from March 15 and April 5, 2016 meetings
(3) Administrative Matters
• Review and discuss proposed meeting timeline for completion of Zoning Bylaws and Regulation revisions
• Review and discuss upcoming bond proposal to Town for water system upgrades
• Ad hoc committee reports, if any
(4) Zoning By-laws and Regulations Review: draft revisions to Articles III and IV, if possible begin Article V
(5) Public Comments
(6) Adjournment
The Planning Commission is engaged in drafting proposed revisions to the Town’s Zoning By-Laws & Regulations that will bring this document into conformity with the Town Plan approved in November, 2012. Our deliberations on Article X (outlining zones, objectives, uses, and dimensional standards) were completed in January, 2016. We are now proceeding with review and deliberation of the remaining Articles in anticipation of future public hearings and final recommendations to the Selectboard. Adam Lougee, Executive Director of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission (ACRPC), continues to serve as the Planning Commission’s consultant in this process.
Public comments on tonight’s agenda will be called for at an appropriate juncture during the deliberations. We will hear public comments on other topics at the conclusion of our evening’s deliberations.
