29th Annual Egg Hunt March 26

Past event
Mar 26, 2016

You'll want to mark your calendar and set your alarm for one of the most popular, special events the Barre area has to offer! The Barre City and Town Recreation Departments will be up early hiding thousands of eggs on Saturday March 26, 2016. Youngsters will be divided into 3 age groups, 3 & 4 years, 5 - 7 years and 8 - 10 years. The hunt will be held in Rotary Park, next to the municipal swimming pool / Charlie's Playground 2012 - just below BCEMS. The horn will sound at 10:00 a.m. sharp and is over when the eggs are found. You are encouraged to be in the park at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the hunt. There is no fee for this event however we would like to encourage those who can to donate a non-perishable food item that will help feed our neighbors. Youngsters should bring a bag or basket to collect all their goodies. Grandparents, if you have Grandchildren coming for the weekend this is a fun event for everyone! A very special thank you as the City and Town together bring you this event with assistance from Hibbert & McGee, Cabot and Hannafords. Anyone with questions can call Stephanie Quaranta at the Barre City Buildings & Community Services Department - Rec at 476-0257 or squaranta@barrecity.org.
