Please join the Mount Mansfield Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on March 13th, 9:30am for a Sunday Service that will explore how we can prepare ourselves - spiritually, emotionally, and practically - for the final chapter of our lives, and the lives of those we love.
In life we make choices constantly. Our decisions influence work, relationships, families, lifestyles. But choices about end of life, whether far in the future or imminent, are difficult to face. Rarely do we talk about how we want to be cared for, at the end of our lives, not only medically, but spiritually cared for as well. Talking is the single most important thing you can do to prepare for the death of someone you love.
Susan Bresee and Kelly McCutcheon Adams, both Members of MMUUF, will lead the Service. MMUUF Members Sarah Ward, Don Miller, Crystal Fisher, and Delia Clark will reflect on their end of life experiences, as well.
Kelly holds a Master Degree in Social Work, and works as Director for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, a global leader in healthcare innovation. Susan has a Master of Science in Health Communications, and focuses on community-based strategies to enhance health and well-being.
