WCMHS will be hosting a free Youth Mental Health First Aid course on January 24th open to both staff and the general public. The training will take place in person from 9am-3pm in Waterbury (location will be sent to those who enroll).

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents. This training can be applicable to parents, teachers, paraeducators, coaches, youth group leaders or anyone else who interacts with youth between the ages of 10-18.
