Let us entertain your socks off at Carnevale Vergennes on March 5 at Vergennes Opera House! This year’s event will provide a spectacular assault on the senses by bedazzling guests with performances that one would expect to see at a circus, parade, magic show and burlesque nightclub. You can also expect a bounty of Asian-inspired hors d’oeuvres, a Venetian-themed dessert buffet, cash bar, and live music & dancing with the popular Hokum Brothers. Entertainment this year is being coordinated by Charlotte resident Woody Keppel, an internationally known performer, acrobat, juggler, actor and comedian.

Guests will have an opportunity to bid on a collection of Addison County’s most sought-after goods and services during the silent auction, which will showcase over 50 items donated by generous local businesses and families. Items are valued between $30 and $3000 and will include: Group dinners and overnight accommodations at exclusive local homes, camps and properties; Cocktails and boating on Lake Champlain; A Paint & sip party for 6 with artist Sean Dye; A DR Trimmer Mower worth over $400; Museum and event passes; Art; Jewelry; Wine; Chocolate; Gift certificates galore and much, much more!

Your $50 ticket gets you all of this and benefits 3 local non-profit organizations: The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Vergennes, The Vergennes Opera House and The Vergennes Partnership. Some guests will be decked out in full costume (providing an excellent people-watching opportunity) and others will be more simply attired. All are welcome!
