The City of Vergennes, in collaboration with Vergennes Partnership, invites you to join us for a WANTS & NEEDS DISCUSSION on housing in the Little City. An unprecedented time as Vergennes and other municipalities face severe housing deficits. Join us at the Vergennes Opera House, 6:30-8:30pm on Monday, March 25.
We want to hear from YOU!
• Share your vision for Vergennes
• Discuss housing needs and opportunities
• Help shape our next Municipal Plan
• Weigh in on zoning districts, do they suit current and future housing needs?
• Learn about recent policies and programs to support "smart growth"
• Hear updates about ongoing and potential housing developments too
The evening will be led primarily by Shannon Haggett, Vergennes Planning Commission Chair - with input from you! A slide show and discussion - bring a neighbor - get informed – be part of the solution.
Refreshments & snacks will be served – to those who attend IN person!

VERMONT SUN, the longstanding fitness center at Kennedy Bros. is open a whopping 87 hours each week! A great option in Vergennes for the self-motivated, membership at Vermont Sun gives one access to their primary location in Middlebury on Exchange Street with their pool, racquetball courts, group exercises and more!
LITTLE CITY COMMUNITY FITNESS - Next door to Vergennes Animal Hospital, Coach Matthias Cormier opened Little City Community Fitness in 2021 and has been helping people gain the best fitness of their lives through functional movement training, strength training, weightlifting and lifestyle changes. He is dedicated to helping athletes find joy in trying new physical challenges. Coach Matthias has coached several national qualifying weightlifters, including the 2023 USA Weightlifting Masters National Champion.

LIGHTS OUT & LOVE IN THE AIR
The lights go out after tonight at Vergennes City Park. A shout out of thanks to the many volunteers who wrapped the trees and those who are poised to take them down. City Park is a true gem in the heart of the Little City; don't you agree?
Valentines Day just around the corner and love is in the air! Daily Chocolate, Diddle & Zen and others up, down and all-around Main Street are stocked with gifts to make one's heart beat just a little bit faster. Why put all the pressure on one day? Spread the love and make it Valentine month!
