On Wed. Feb. 17th, at 7:00 PM, at the Craftsbury Public Library, the Craftsbury Energy Committee will be hosting a presentation on “How to Recycle” by the Lamoille Regional Solid Waste District.
Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law is in full effect, banning recyclable materials from the landfill as of July 1, 2015. Beginning July 1, 2020, all food scraps will be banned as well.
Come and hear LRSWD talk about:
1) An explanation of the Universal Recycling Law
2) How do I recycle that? Recycling Q&A
3) At Home composting options including: Soil Savers, Green Cones, Bokashi & Worms.
No one leaves empty-handed! All attendees will receive a free Recycling Bin and be entered into a drawing to win a Soil Saver Backyard Composter and a Bokashi Composting System.
