Vermont Health Connect, Vermont's Health Insurance Exchange, opens October 1, 2013. Vermonters will have a new way to enroll in health coverage as required by the Affordable Care Act.
Ask your questions at a live forum on Thursday, October 3 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Channel 17 Studio, 294 North Winooski Avenue, Burlington (second floor.)
Vermont Health Connect "navigators" from the Community Health Centers of Burlington, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, and Vermont Campaign for Health Care Security Education Fund will be on hand to answer your questions.
Navigators are specially trained professionals funded by the State of Vermont to help individuals and small employers learn about Vermont Health Connect and to provide them in-person assistance for enrolling in public and private coverage through Vermont Health Connect.
If you cannot make it in person, you can follow along on Channel 17, or stream it live on the web http://www.cctv.org/live_events or http://www.7dvt.com/. The call-in number for the program is 802-862-3966. ORCA public access TV in central Vermont will also stream the program live.
