Hi Neighbors!
I work at the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) and we have recently made the move from our 95 North Ave location over to our temporary space at 179 South Winooski Ave while our 95 North Ave space undergoes some major construction. However, we still need help moving some items from the 95 North Ave to the Main Street Family Shelter (across the street from Edmunds Elementary & Middle Schools). Please see the email below from our Development Director, Becky Holt:
Hi guys,
Tomorrow, Devo is planning to move the remaining diapers, books and toys from 95 North Avenue to the attic of Main Street Family Shelter.
Right now, we only have SEVEN volunteers signed up to help us move inkind donations from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. With lots of boxes and stairs, we could really use some more hands. Know anyone looking for community service hours? Like to volunteer? Good with boxes (LOL!)? Please send them to Lori Goldman (lorig@cotsonline.org or 802-864-7402, Ext. 207) asap. Thank you!!!
Please share with friends, college students, high school students!
Thanks, Becky
Any interested volunteer movers should send an email to lorig@cotsonline.org or call her at 802-864-7402 x207! Please be prepared to meet at the 95 North Ave location at 3PM sharp on Wednesday! Email me or reply to this post if you have any other questions. Thank you for helping COTS during this time of major transition and transformation!
Emma, on the corner of Charlotte and Locust.
