Hello Community~

Last month was the first Peace Pod- Shelburne gathering, and it was a wonderful time! A huge thank you to all who came and shared their time, their skills and their willingness to create for others. Also, thank you to all who so generously donated yarn to our group! That was tremendous. And finally, thank you to all who wrote expressing interest but couldn't make it.

We will be meeting the third Saturday of every month at Pierson Library in Shelburne. Our intention is to knit and/or crochet items to be sent to Knitting4Peace: http://www.knitting4peace.org/

If you would like more information about Shelburne's Peace Pod, or would like to be put on our mailing list, please respond to this post. If you can't make the actual gathering, you can still participate! There are patterns on the website and a list of current needs. Knitting4Peace is about to celebrate their 10-year anniversary, and we can help them get to 100,000 items, handmade and given with love!
