Luckily that with the current lack of snow, Tuesday’s Winterfest activities are all indoors!
You can try your hand at Poker at 6 PM, in the Senior Center on Stowe St. Low-pressure poker played to benefit the Waterbury Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. $10 buy-in. Texas Hold’em with cash prizes! Adults only.
With your poker winnings, head over to the Black Back Pub at 8 PM to try out IPA’s of Vermont Blind Taste Test. Bring your taste buds and hop downtown to our friendly beer pub to enjoy this exciting libations event! The evening promises a bevy of bountiful brews, bound to create a lingering taste sensation to last throughout the Winterfest season. Blackback Pub will have six local IPA’s to blind taste. Participants will attempt to identify the correct beer; winner gets $50.00 gift certificate to Blackback Pub.
Don’t forget check out the dozen plus decorated business windows throughout Waterbury Village of Winter Fun! Vote for your favorite window decoration at were you will find a full listing of participating businesses. Crowd favorite will be judged on Wednesday, February 3rd.
