The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), your regional transportation and land use planning and policy organization, is seeking public input on planning projects for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016-June 30, 2017). Help us develop new transportation planning and study ideas (such as intersection improvements, roadway corridor studies, traffic circulation analysis, etc.) that will help make getting around easier, safer, and more convenient for everyone.
We encourage you to coordinate your ideas with your municipal staff, since most projects require local funding and support. Note that our funds cannot be used for construction projects, but our planning helps projects get closer to reality.
HOW TO SHARE YOUR IDEAS
A public forum is scheduled as part of our regular Board meeting on Wednesday, January 20th at 6:00pm at the CCRPC (110 West Canal Street, Suite 202, Winooski). Comments will also be accepted until January 22nd via email (bdavis@ccrpcvt.org) or by phone (802-861-0129). Our current work plan is available online at http://www.ccrpcvt.org/workplan. Again, we strongly encourage you to work with your municipal planning/public works staff or elected body on project ideas.

The CCRPC provides planning and technical assistance in the areas of community development, transportation, agriculture, natural resources, housing, economic development, and emergency management to the 19 municipalities of Chittenden County and the public. The collaboration between the CCRPC, Chittenden County municipalities and other related resource agencies results in the development and implementation of plans that support sustainable development and improve the region's environment and quality of life.
