On Mondays, starting January 18 at 10 AM Jeudevine Library presents Music and Movement for Preschoolers. Emily Lanxner will be teaching this program of creative music and movement geared especially for preschoolers, but open to kids of all ages. In honor of Martin Luther King Day Emily will incorporate songs of peace. Lanxner is the Director of the Jeudevine Music School and PanAshé International. She is a multi-instrumentalist who teaches lessons and classes in the local community, and enjoys creating special events featuring a broad range of cultural activities and performances. She recently received her Master’s Degree in steelpan performance from Northern Illinois University. There will be drums and movement and music for all ages!
This program is funded through a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation’s Northeast Kingdom Fund.
