Local band Zephyr will return to the Byers Studio at 7:30 PM on Friday January 8, 2016. $10 cover.

Zephyr is a harmony-rich, lyric-oriented quartet bringing together influences of Americana, folk, bluegrass, blues, gospel, country and the singer-songwriter tradition. They play a mix of unique originals interspersed with occasional covers by songwriters such as Buddy and Julie Miller, Gillian Welch, Mark Heard, Bruce Cockburn, and T Bone Burnett.

Matthew Dickerson, Susan Nop, Kathleen Smith and Dutton Smith are Zephyr. Dickerson and Nop are the songwriting team behind Zephyr and they both sing lead vocals. K & D Smith provide backing/harmony vocals. Instrumentation includes acoustic guitar, harmonica, keyboard, accordion, fiddle, bass guitar and percussion.
