Community Lantern-Making Workshop for the Stream of Lights Parade

Please join us for a free all-day workshop with artist Gowri Savoor. Each participant will create their own 3D magical hand-made lantern, in preparation for the Essex Stream of Light Lantern Parade on February 12. There will be a limit of 20 participants. Sign up to reserve your spot.

Date: Saturday, January 9, 2016
Time: 10 a.m. 3 p.m. (with an hour break for lunch)
Place: Hiawatha School
Workshop is free to attend. Donations will be welcome.
All tools and materials will be provided. If you have a pair of hand-held
pruning shears, please bring them along, you'll find it useful to have a pair of your own.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Not suitable for children under six.
