The Church on the Common will be sponsoring the showing of the movie Alive Inside on January 10, 3 pm, at the church. Alive Inside is "a joyous cinematic exploration of music’s capacity to reawaken our souls and uncover the deepest parts of our humanity". This documentary describes the work of one worker who discovered that elderly victims of dementia, habitually lost to the isolating effects of their disease, reacted almost magically to listening to music that had had meaning for them earlier in their lives.
