The River of Light, Waterbury's Community Lantern Parade, taking place this Saturday December 5th at 5pm in Waterbury VT.

Help us celebrate the change of the season and bring your lanterns or line the parade route - this year's theme is BUGS!
Music will be provided by Sambatucada, Brass Balagan and the Crosset Brook Middle School Junk Band.

The parade leaves from two locations at 5pm this year:
Location 1: Thatcher Brook Primary School on Stowe Street, Waterbury. We will proceed down Stowe Street, turning right at Main Street, then left onto Dac Rowe.
Location 2: Rusty Parker Park on Main St. We will turn right onto Main Street, merge with parade 1 at the intersection, then follow on to Dac Rowe for hot chocolate, bonfires and a special dance performance by Mad River Valley's fire troupe Ignis Solus.
We hope to see you there! This event is free and family-friendly. Event finishes at 6pm.
