Once again this holiday season Bridgeside Books and the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) are partnering to donate children’s books for the ongoing reading programs CLiF provides throughout Vermont and New Hampshire.

Please join us for a special Holiday Story Time to kick off The Giving Tree. We are very excited to welcome John & Jennifer Churchman, along with special guest, Laddie, who will be sharing their new book 'Sweet Pea and Friends The Sheepover' and their adventures on the farm in Essex, Vt.

'Sweet Pea and Friends The Sheepover' is the true story of one orphan lamb's true journey from recovery to a celebration with friends. This charming story is told beautifully through words and gorgeous photo-illustrations. Enjoy freshly baked goodies and sip hot mulled cider too!

From November 29th through December 24th, Bridgeside Books will offer 20% off any children’s books purchased for donation to CLiF. The books can be placed under the Giving Tree at Bridgeside Books. Children’s books purchased elsewhere can also be dropped off at Bridgeside Books and placed under the Giving Tree. Only new books will be accepted for CLiF programs.
