The Stampede Comes to Stowe!
American roots music troubadours, Donna the Buffalo and Peter Rowan, are teaming up with Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, for THE STAMPEDE, a tour to raise awareness of the use of corporate money in politics.
Donna the Buffalo has performed original roots music infused with elements of Cajun, rock, folk, reggae, and country, since 1989. The group draws its inspiration from the old-time music festivals of the south that drew entire towns and counties together. Grammy-award winner and six-time Grammy nominee Peter Rowan is a singer-songwriter Bluegrass legend, with a career spanning over five decades.
