A new class being offered at Artists' Mediums on November 3rd will provide an opportunity to hone drawing skills and learn about the versatility of colored pencils. INTRODUCTION TO COLORED PENCILS, with Jean Carlson Masseau, on Tuesday November 3rd from 1:00 - 3:00 will focus on drawing skills, application methods and paper choices unique to the medium. A review of original work from Jean's commercial and personal portfolio will serve as inspiration before students begin their own colored pencil piece based on an easy to draw botanical subject. This class is designed for any ability level, especially beginners, with an emphasis on learning by seeing and doing with lots of support.

In addition, Jean's limited edition Giclee print "Tractor Study III", (colored pencil, retail value $90.00), will be given away by raffle, no purchase necessary.
