Good Shepherd Lutheran Church – 273 Route 15 in Jericho

Our next food distribution takes place this Saturday, 2/15/25, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Route 15 in Jericho from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. To help with traffic flow, local families (Essex, Jericho, and Underhill) are invited to arrive at 9 AM, and families from other towns are invited to arrive starting at 10 AM. Newcomers are welcome to register on the spot – please bring an ID showing your address for our records.

This is a drive-thru distribution so all items will be placed in your vehicle by volunteers, and you can remain in your vehicle. We are distributing pre-packed bags of food staples, fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, and butter. We also have limited supplies of diapers and pet food.

Future Food Shelf Distributions are planned for the 3rd Saturday of each month in 2025, except April which will be held Saturday 4/12/25. Please be aware that as of 4/12, we will be adopting a new traffic pattern in the upper parking lot.

The EJU Food Shelf is grateful to all the local churches, individuals, businesses, and farmers who have donated time, produce, personal care items, money, and non-perishable groceries to the food shelf.

We have a current shortage of baked beans (large cans), creamy peanut butter, canned chicken, canned fruit, cereal, and baby wipes. Donated food can be purchased and placed in donation bins located at the Jericho Market, Essex Market32 and Essex Hannaford's.
