Richmond Big Truck Day

Hi everybody. Please consider taking your little one to see Richmond Big Truck Day on Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM. This is a fundraiser for the Richmond Elementary School physical education program. The money is used to buy extra PE equipment and fund extra-curricular exercise programs for the kids (skiing, swimming). There will be approximately 25 Big Trucks on hand to inspect and get behind the wheel in, including giant farm tractors, fire trucks, dump trucks, graders, dozers, State Police bomb truck with robot demonstration, and at least 1, and possibly 2, helicopters. (Seriously!) It promises to be a VERY FUN day for kids, with FREE food, FREE face-painting, etc. There is a requested donation of $10 per car or group. Parking is available at the Richmond schools campus or on the ballfield on Browns Court, which is right around the corner from the schools. This fundraiser is the brainchild of the RES PE teacher, Brian Godfrey, who grew up in Richmond and is a great teacher -- he's doing all this on his own initiative, so please come support Brian and RES on Saturday if you're available.

Huntington Youth Soccer Players, I will see you all down at the soccer fields for the much-anticipated 2015 Parents-Kids Games -- GO MOMS AND DADS!!!!
