The Syringa Tree presented by Lost Nation Theater - Tuesday and Wednesday night (10/6 & 10/7) is a hidden treasure not to be missed. It is a story of South Africa - from apartheid to the present - told through the very personal story of two families, black and white, whose lives are intertwined.
This is a very powerful story told in a one-woman show by a fantastic young actress who, based on this performance, I would guess has a terrific career ahead of her. When the lights blackened at the end, I felt as though I hadn't taken a breath in a long time - I was so engrossed.
See it!
