Notable Burlington women walking tour, commemorating the 95th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment (Women’s right to vote)

In recognition of the ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, the friends of Lakeview cemetery are holding a historical walking tour through burlington’s lakeview cemetery (455 north avenue, burlington). The historic 1882 Louisa Howard Chapel will also be open for viewing. The tour features brief histories of the lives of selected notable burlington women buried at the cemetery.
There will be opening remarks on women’s right to vote history. Free (donations welcome). Rain or shine.
