Chooseco, publisher of the Choose Your Own Adventure® series, is pleased to announce the final stop on our book tour, featuring Anson Montgomery’s #185 Choose Your Own Adventure: Escape from the Haunted Warehouse. Montgomery, son of the late series founder R. A. Montgomery, will be appearing at Bridgeside Books in Waterbury, to sign copies of his newest title and meet fans of the series.
The stop at Bridgeside will be on Tuesday, September 30th. The event will run from 3:30-5 PM.
Montgomery’s new book, “Choose Your Own Adventure #185: Escape from the Haunted Warehouse” was announced as part of Chooseco’s “Lost Archive” releases. The title was originally announced as the final book in the first run of the CYOA series, but was never published. Bloggers and online forums claimed to have read the title and gave it wild five-star reviews, but mysteriously, no print copies seemed to exist. The 4/1/2015 release was covered with rave reviews from People Magazine, Paste Magazine, and its release date was deemed a notable day of the year by USA Today. Montgomery was also interviewed by Q on The Spark Radio show to discuss the lore around Escape from the Haunted Warehouse. The book and Montgomery’s tour was recently highlighted in The Boston Globe, as well as The Greenfield Recorder.
