Hello Brattleboro community!

Join Ari Rockland-Miller of The Mushroom Forager (www.themushroomforager.com) for a guided foray introducing gourmet and medicinal wild mushrooms of fall on Saturday, September 19 from 10am-12pm at Wendell State Forest nearby in Western Massachusetts.

We will explore rich woods of the Pioneer Valley to pursue the distinctive and delicious mushrooms on the ForageCast, including yellow foot chanterelles, hedgehogs, porcini, and lobster mushrooms. Participants will receive a September ForageCast handout for the region, steering us towards a safe, targeted and fruitful foray. We will also discuss guidelines for ethical wildcrafting.

Maximum of 18 participants. Pre-registration is required. Specific starting location at Wendell State Forest TBA to pre-registered attendees.
