Nature Journaling Classes

Past event
Sep 20, 2015, 2 to 3 PM

Hi all,
I'm a local artist and nature writer and I'll be offering nature journaling classes this fall. Nature journaling is a great way to learn more about the natural world through writing and drawing!

Classes will be outside at Cady Hill in Stowe on Sundays from Sept. 20 to Oct. 11 at 2:00. The rain location is under the awning of the Waterbury Train Station. Classes are $10/each for an hour and you don't need to sign up for all four (but I promise you'll want to!).

Please RSVP to me and also feel free to contact me with questions: rachel.marie.sargent@gmail.com.

Please share this post with anyone you think would be interested!

A little about me as a teacher and artist:
I am a local artist and writer originally from Moretown with experience in museum education. I have taught science at the California Academy of Sciences and the Montshire. Currently, I write and illustrate on nature topics primarily for Northern Woodlands. I have taught nature journaling for the Community College of Vermont, the Harvard Museum of Natural History, and the Fairbanks.
